Delhi: BSES to Switch Over to Monthly Billing
Consumers of BSES Rajdhani Power Limited will receive monthly electricity bills from March instead of getting bi-monthly ones.

The company has decided to adopt monthly billing for all its single phase consumers (domestic, non domestic and industrial) who are currently being billed bi-monthly.

Explaining the rationale behind monthly billing, BRPL CEO Gopal Saxena said "providing 12 bills in a year instead of 6 bills will make it easier for consumers in South and West Delhi to better manage their monthly expenses and electricity consumption."

He said consumers will continue to get all the benefits they are now enjoying with bi-monthly billing.

"For instance, they will continue to get 15 days before the due date to pay their electricity bills and those eligible will also continue to get subsidy and slab benefits as before," added Saxena.
