The court has posted the matter for hearing on February 19.
In his complaint Saluja alleged that by allowing the making of the film, reportedly based on the sleaze and murder involving Rajasthan nurse Bhanwari Devi and state politicians, would reflect poorly on Congress party during polls.
"Making of the film based on the criminal case which is pending before Jodhpur court is the breach of law and insult to judiciary", Saluja told reporters after filing the complaint.
He alleged that the film's producer has links with BJP leaders in Madhya Pradesh and wanted to "create a controversy against Congress party".
