A case has been registered against five SGPC employees for allegedly stealing Rs 80,000 donated by the devotees, police said here today.
The case was registered against the employees following a complaint by Manager of the Harminder Sahib, popularly known as the Golden Temple.
The complaint alleged the five, employed in the sanctum sanctorum, allegedly stole the cash while counting donations, Police said.
The CCTV footage on activities of the employees was handed over to the Police.
None of the employees have been arrested so far, Police said.
