Police today detained a man for allegedly sending a letter threatening to carry out serial bomb blasts in the city.
The letter dispatched by ordinary post was received by police in which the sender threatened to carry out serial blasts today.
On the basis of primary investigation, the man was detained for interrogation, police said.
Serial blasts in the pink city in May 2008 had left 70 persons dead and 150 injured.
