Rajasthan government will open 5,000 Kisan Seva Kendras to facilitate farmers, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said.
The centres will make available information about latest techniques used in farming sector as well as new innovations of the field at the local level, Gehlot said.
He was speaking at a farmers' meeting in Sikar district.
Gehlot informed them about the decision and initiatives taken by the government in the interests of farmers.
He said the state government was in favour of farmers and had decided to not hike power tariff for them for five years when Congress came to power.
Gehlot also spoke about the benefits of Aadhar cards and asked them to take advantages of various schemes run by the government.
