The vice-principal of Don Bosco School, Father Falcao (61), who was arrested on January 22, has been sent to judicial custody until February 11, after a 14-year-old minor girl student alleged that he had molested her.
Earlier, he was sent to police custody for six days.
While hearing the case, the police told the court that he was allegedly involved in a similar act when he was in a Mumbai school.
Recently, Don Bosco School had denied all allegations and reiterated that it accorded the highest priority to the security of its students.
Teachers supporting Father Falcao raised questions about the character of the girl.
