Senior Shiv Sena leader Manohar Joshi today dismissed Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde's accusations against BJP and RSS and dubbed it as "political statement".
"It would be good if he refrains from making such statements. The statement which he made was false in nature," Joshi told reporters on the sidelines of a programme here.
He said that a Union Home Minister should not make any political statement.
Shinde who faced the wrath from both Shiv Sena and BJP yesterday immediately after his statement, asked him to "show" the evidence as claimed by him.
"Terrorism has no religion or caste. I feel pity for him. If he has evidence, then he should prove it. We are not spreading terrorism, but we give answers to it," BJP leader Vinod Tawde said.
Yesterday, Shinde had alleged at an All India Congress Committee session in
Jaipur, that "We have got an investigation report that be it the RSS or BJP, their training camps are promoting Hindu terrorism."
Shinde said bombs were planted in Samjhauta Express, Mecca Masjid and a blast was also carried out in
Malegaon. In all these incidents, the involvement of right-wing extremist groups is suspected, he had said.
