Jammu School Girls Protest Against Delhi Gang-Rape
A large number of school girls today took out a protest march in the city demanding death penalty for perpetrators of the Delhi gang-rape incident.

Wearing black badges and tying black clothes on their mouths, girls marched through the streets of Jammu holding placards in support of the demand for hanging the accused.

"We have held a silent protest march in the city to support the cause of the girl and to press the government for awarding capital punishment to the accused," said a girl who took part in the protests.

The 23-year-old paramedical student, who was raped and brutally assaulted in a moving bus in Delhi, died in Singapore on December 29 after battling for life for nearly two weeks.
