BJP Demands Owaisi's Arrest, Slams Centre's 'Silence'
Strongly reacting to the alleged communal statement of MIM MLA from Andhra Pradesh Akbaruddin Owaisi, BJP today demanded his immediate arrest and expressed its anger at the Centre's "deafening silence" on the issue.

Former Finance Minister and BJP MP Yashwant Sinha today issued a statement seeking action against Owaisi for a speech which he described as "pure poison" and "objectionable in the extreme".

"Owaisi should be arrested immediately and brought to justice. His membership of the Assembly should be ended forth with and he should be peremptorily disqualified from contesting all future elections," Sinha told PTI.

The BJP leader said that such tendencies must be nipped in the bud by meting out exemplary punishment to Owaisi so that it serves as a deterrent to all such wrong doers.

Owaisi, brother of MIM MP Asadudin, is MLA from Chandrayangutta Assembly constituency in Andhra Pradesh. He had allegedly used inflammatory and derogatory words against a particular community in a public speech at Adilabad last week.

Sinha also wondered why the Centre and the Congress government in Andhra Pradesh have not spoken on the issue.

"The deafening silence of the Government of India and the shameless behaviour of the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh indicate the warped mindset of the Congress party towards minority communalism," he said.

The BJP leader maintained that Owaisi's comments violate the law, the spirit of the Constitution and the values the country stands for.

"What Owaisi said is pure poison which is bound to inflame communal passions. It is unthinkable that an elected representative of the people should not only harbour such thoughts but should have the temerity to express them in public," Sinha said.

BJP Vice-President Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi also criticised Owaisi's comments in strong words.

"He is trying to vitiate the atmophere in the country. Those in whom Osama bin-Laden's spirit has entered and who are behaving like the Taliban should be punished. These parties are against the Constitution and democracy," Naqvi said.

He demanded that the Election Commission take cognisance of the matter and act against MIM. He also asked the Home Ministry to take direct action in the matter.

"Congress should also make it clear whether it agrees with Owaisi's comments. If it is opposed to his views then why is it not speaking out," Naqvi said.

Ultimately due utterances of Owasi like Politicians and Secus whose coffers are rather richly filled the ultimate sufferers are job hunting Muslim youth and businessmen in search of greater collaboration who pay the price .
Owasi is the product of Secus' Vote collaboration with the radicals which like Bhinderawale will sooner or later will recoil back .Owasis are exactly using the same hate language like Bhiinderwale used to speak and in both the cases Congress is the collaborator.

In the end we Indians pays the price like we paid in Assam and Punjab .
AP and Kerala are the next stop.
