 TEEPEE, KERALA

Here's a quote from Gandhi:

"My own experience but confirms the opinion that the mussulman as a rule is a bully, and the Hindu as a rule is a coward"

Your problem starts when Hindus are no more cowards. Good luck cause Hindus won't be cowards like Gandhi anymore.

Majority of  present day generation  of Gujarati population seem to  take PRIDE in claiming to belong to the birth place of MAUTH KA SAUDAGAR  rather than the birth place of RASHTRA PITHA . .A generation opting for HELL  OF FIRE  to swallow the sinners and innocents together.

We watch this perfunctory celebration year after year because his name still fetches votes, ministership and even government. But he is deliberately portrayed as some kind of a saint or a holy man, half clad and looking emaciated. The well dressed overweight men and women, trying to grudgingly smile, tell us how he got us independence with non-violence only as his weapon. So he was a Mahatma. Our these Atmas seem to say in their broken modern Indian Languages that he was somebody out of the unreal world, because they behave exactly the opposite of what MKGandhi stood for. He Was A Leader In The Best Sense Of The Word. But our overweight dignitaries never mention his leadership qualities. Had they cared to just look at his half clad half fed body, they would have learnt to serve the people and not suck their blood. What would a PM or his crorepati adviser ministers know what it means to the aam aadmi when the price of his milk is increased by one rupee a litre? These crorepatis talk of "market forces"/FDI etc, Gandhi talked of Khadi and village industries(work for every hand). Any person claiming to be the leader of the masses would have given either an alternative to his vision or upgraded his action plan. But they have proved themselves real men & women of straw-- a country that remained without freedom for centuries, has been immersed in corruption in less than 65 years! We have killed Gandhi repeatedly. We fear his kind of leadership, because than you can't practice corruption as the UPA has done in the past 8 years and never shown any regrets.

Since this is the rescuing season, can some one tell me if Gandhi needs rescuing? Bhagavad Gita has to be rescued. Vivekananda has to be rescued. If Gandhi also needs rescuing, I am simply in awe over how much work the succus have on their shoulders.
