WB Cong Confident That Mamata Won't Pull Out of UPA
West Bengal Pradesh Congress president Pradip Bhattacharjee today expressed firm belief that the Trinamool Congress would remain in the government and help it to run smoothly.

"It is my firm belief that she (Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee) will not pull out from the ministry nor withdraw support," Bhattacharjee told PTI here.

"She will be remaining inside the government and help the government run smoothly," Bhattacharjee said in the wake of speculations that Trinamool Congress may consider pulling out ministers and give outside support to the UPA II government.

Bhattacharjee said, "I do not want TMC to quit the government."

Mamata Banerjee had set a 72-hour deadline on Friday for the government to rollback its decision on diesel price hike and cutting supply of subsidised LPG cylinders and FDI in multi-brand retail.
