Twelve more bodies were fished out from the Sone river taking the toll in the boat capsize to 19 today in Bihar's Bhojpur district.
National Disaster Rescue Force personnel and local divers retrieved the bodies from the river where the boat had capsized yesterday, Shahar Station House Officer Manoj Kumar Srivastava said.
The dead were identified as Kumaro Devi, Rohit Kumar, Chandmani, Maruti alias Sandhya, Chita Kumari, Jhunni Kumari, Kanchan Kumari, Vikas, Pushpa, Ragini Kumari, Batash alias Neeraj and Shivnandan Kumar.
Search was continuing for 15 other passengers of the boat who were missing, he said.
The mishap occurred yesterday when the overcrowded boat carrying about 35 to 40 people from Dhauri village in Bhojpur district to Masarwa village in neighbouring Arwal district capsized in the mid-stream, Superintendent of Police M R Naik said.
