Congress Mob Brutalises Woman Cop in Odisha

Thousands of Congress workers clashed with the police today when they tried to gherao the Odisha Assembly building demanding resignation of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik over the coalgate row leaving around 260 people including 60 police personnel injured.

A woman police constable, who was allegedly thrashed and dragged by the Congress protesters, and another policeman were among the injured and they are in a critical condition, official sources said.

The police resorted to baton charge when water cannons and teargas failed to disperse the opposition protesters on the MG road close to the assembly building, police sources said.

Armed with sticks, the demonstrators fought a pitched battle for three hours trying to break a barricade and threw stones at the police, the sources said.

Police and hospital sources said around 260 people including 60 policemen were injured in the violence.

DGP Prakash Mishra said the police was prepared to handle the protests but did not expect 'organised hooliganism'.

Congress leaders including Soumya Ranjan Patnaik, however, alleged that policemen jumped the barricade and beat up party workers as their meeting was in progress.

Also among the injured were DCP Nitinjeet Singh, OPCC President Niranjan Patnaik and his senior party colleagues Soumya Ranjan Patnaik and Tara Prasad Bahinipati, police sources said.

The protesters had gathered to demand the resignation of Patnaik alleging his involvement in the coal allocation scam and irregularities in supply of fertiliser and rice.

The demonstrators were addressed by AICC general secretary in-charge of Odisha Jagdish Tytler and Niranjan Patnaik who alleged that the BJD government was the most corrupt in history of the state.

Rejecting the allegations, the chief minister said Congress was in the habit of making baseless charges though people knew about the scams in which the Congress-led UPA government was involved.

Accusing the state government of depriving the poor of rice and wheat provided by the Centre, the Congress leaders also alleged that the BJD government was providing only 25 kg per family against 35 kg given by the central government under various schemes like Antyodaya Anna Yojana and for BPL people.

I am not surprised. Congressmen are known to behave like criminals and when led by Jagsish tytler whose sole contibution to Indian politics was the secular massacre of Silks he organised in 1984 after his leader was eliminated, what else can one expect. When Congressmen go on the rampage I think the Jyoti Basu policy must be put in [place.

Bharat >>  Sonia's agressive advise to Congresswallahs 'to take to the streets' has resulted in this molestation of woman cop by Rahul's Youth Congress brigade.

This is just a TRAILER.. As Congress party gets desperate as we move towards April 2014 and 16th general elections, the party and its hooligan workers will enact more dirty tricks to stave off the terrible defeat. Expect more such acts. Because, the Congress party of 2012 is ruled at the helm by a lady who has neither the perspective of democracy nor a persepective of tolerant India. When CON Party's most powerful lady is thinking all the time about making her reluctant sonny boy as the next PM, she has no time to think of damage her party is doing to democracy.

Rahul >> It is strange why the Media is not asking Rahul Gandhi about the coal scam or its party workers brutally assaulting a woman cop in Odhisha.

All MAINSTREAM MEDIA HOUSES including OUTLOOK are REPRESENTATIVES OF THE RULING PARTY AT DELHI AND FAVOUR THE CORRUPT and CRIMINAL CON-GRES Party.

Note to Outlook - Please refrain from banning such messages merely because you are being accused. Introspect on your own publishing policies and work towards becoming a more neutral and balanced media that shows perspective of both sides of political divide. Dont forget that all the media support did not help Congress to win 1977 elections. 2014 will make Congress feel that 1977 was a victory for it.

Anwaar >> Those who organized the protest must be held responsible and punished.

It Is heartening to find that the Strongest Supporter of CON Party and the ROYAL DYNASTY is also agreeing that the criminals should be punished...

SO LET US ALL AGREE TO TEACH CON-PARTY A BITTER LESSON in 2014..

VOTE UPA OUT OF POWER In 2014 AND TEACH SONIA DYNASTY A BITTER LESSON.

Jagdish Tytler is the Congress in-charge of Orissa? This had to happen. After all, who can be more experienced than Tytler in leading mobs? The man along with Sajjan Kumar, HKL Bhagat, and others  massacred 4000 Sikhs in 3 days flat. Beating a policewoman black and blue should have been child's play for him. I'm surprised some policemen weren't killed by the mob. Maybe Tytler didn't want to draw the attention of the law enforcement authorities again.
