NE Exodus: People Pushed Out of Train, Toll Rises to 6
One more body was found near the Bardhaman Railway Station in West Bengal, taking the death toll in last Sunday's violence on board the Guwahati-bound special train carrying Northeast people to six.

Official sources said the body, belonging to a person hailing from Majuli river island in Jorhat district, was recovered yesterday.

Of the six dead, three are from Hailakandi district in South Assam's Barak valley, one each from Jorhat and Nagaon districts and the other from Thoubal district in Manipur.

Assam IGP (law and order) L R Bishnoi said the situation in the trouble-torn districts of Korkajhar, Chirang and Dhubri was gradually returning to normal as curfew was relaxed today.

"The police and the district administration are trying to build social harmony and our job will be to maintain overall peace", Bishnoi said.

During Eid celebrations yesterday, curfew was relaxed from 9 am to 3 pm and the prayers passed off peacefully, he said.

Our leaders are not keen to tell us who pushed these unfortunates off the train. Which means we are free to make our own surmise. To flee from imagined danger in South India and be done to death in Bihar is ironic indeed. Our authorities won't come clean even on the number of people killed !Release details peacemeal, hoping our people won't or can't put two and two together ! Such devious reporting in this and other instances will surely lead to rumours, everytime. In days to come reports from Assam about the communal riots would also be released peacemeal.

Why does not Govt comes clean as to who were the killers who attacked the train ?

The facts perhaps are so enraging that both Nitish Kumar Govt as incident happened in Malda area and Central Govt are feeling shy to name the culprits .

But this will give rise to conjectures as people are already poing to Demographic structure of the Malada  Region.

Arrest the crimnals and nip the evil in the bud
