Judicial First Class Magistrate Court, Muvattupuza, today declared as proclaimed offenders two accused in the case relating to the attack on Prof T J Joseph, whose right hand had been chopped off allegedly by activists radical outfit, Popular front of India (PFI).
Two accused-K K Ali and Nazar, are absconding since the attack on prof Joseph Police sources said.
They were declared proclaimed offenders on the report of SIT probing the case, said Moovattupzha CI P P Shams.
Police had earlier issued lookout notice against three accused K K Ali, Nazar and Younus. Police has already arrested Younes.
Joseph was attacked on July 4 allegedly by activists of Popular Front of India (PFI) at Muvattupuzha for preparing a question paper containing "derogatory" references to Prophet Mohammed.
