Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee has ordered removal of chairmen of all Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) across the country, appointed during the tenure of RJD chief Lalu Prasad.

A senior railway official said the Ministry has appointed new chairmen of 20 RRBs as part of a revamping exercise. The orders for the appointment of the new chairmen were passed two days back.

It is learnt all these chairman were appointed during the tenure of former railway minister Lalu Prasad. A senior railway official is appointed in the post of RRB chairman for a tenure of three years.

The RRBs are situated at 20 cities across the country. In recent times, some of them were mired in controversy with allegations of largescale irregularities and repeated question paper leak in RRB exams.

The massive revamping exercise is aimed at streamlining the recruitment process in RRBs, officials said.

Please publish the names of the RRB chairmen appointed by the Railway Minister Mamta Banerjee in place of those appointed by her predecessor.
I hope they are not from her own kitchen garden.
