Suspected Maoists abducted and killed two 'former activists' of a rival outfit at Palamau's Chando village, the police said today.
About 20 suspected Maoists forcibily picked up Pappu Singh and M Ansari from their houses late last night and shot them on the outskirts of the village under Chenpur police station, the police said here.
The bodies were recovered this morning, the sources said and added a note left by the killers accused the duo of 'police informers'.
Denying the allegations, the police said Singh and Ansari had been members of another naxal outfit, the Tritiya Prastuti Committee (TPC).
The CPI (Maoist) is engaged with a turf war with the TPC.
