Actor Shiney Ahuja, who shifted to his parents' house here after securing bail from the Bombay High Court in a rape case, has been asked to report to a Delhi police station as directed by the court.
According to police, Ahuja marked his attendance at Sector 20 police station in Noida recently and gave a copy of the bail order.
Therefore, Noida Police served Shiney a notice directing him to mark his attendance at a Delhi police station as per court directive after it found that Shiney had told court that his parents live in Delhi and he will be staying with them after bail.
The High Court while granting bail to Ahuja had set the condition that he will stay in Delhi till the trial commenced to ensure that there was no tampering of evidence.
The court directed the 36-year-old actor to mark attendance at the nearest police station in Delhi.
The Bollywood star was arrested on June 15 after his maid lodged a complaint with Mumbai police that the actor had raped her at his residence. The wife and child of the actor were not at home when the alleged incident occurred.
