Ofcourse. The HM had already given the cover fire by pointing fingers at RSS/BJP. But the perpetrators didn't know the HM would backtrack. The HM will have a tough time convincing IM that there has been a 'misunderstanding'.

Based on what happened eventually, would anything be different today, had they not known about it?  The honourable minister himself shamelessly confessed, that knowing or not knowing about these things doesn't make a rat's ass difference to the final outcome: you will always end up with bodies to count... 

So, in what way is the minister or the number of not-so-intelligent agencies under him are being paid tax payers' money, are actually doing the job they are supposed to do?  Why are they still on their jobs and to do what? To give out such utterly inept brainless press releases?
