There cannot be smoke without fire.

If the littoral states around China are seriously concerned about China, then that is because the Chinese have gone around pushing and shoving those same countries with a nasty bullying attitude.

There is no wonder US wants to fish in troubled waters and is very much welcomed to do so, by these same countries who are shaken by the aggressive posture which China is employing.

The very issues China is complaining about are due to its own making.  It better look in a mirror for the sources of its tensions in its neighbourhood.
