As per this law, adultery is defined as an act whereby a married man has sex with a married woman without her consent AND without the consent of her husband.

So if the woman in the tape is married and if her husband has not consented to AMS having sex with her or she having sex with AMS, then it is clearly adultery as per Indian law - two consenting adults and all that be damned.

So the defence being put out that it was consensual sex or there were no promises or inducements does not hold.

By committing adultery, AMS has committed a crime. And if a Member of Parliament committed a crime, it is not a personal/private matter.

The matter should be investigated to see if the MP has been falsely framed in the CD scandal - Team Anna was threatened with Member Privileges for calling the MPs thieves, this is more serious -  or if he committed a crime under Indian law.

Majority of the Politicians must be envying capacity of Singhvi not only to explain the mute points but also simultaneously has retained the ability to demonstrate finer points in his Law Chambers in High Court compounds .

Of all the leaders of congress I probably did admire Abhishek Manu Singhvi. He was learned, articulate and very good at his job.

I have not seen the CD nor intend to .But since a Parliamentarian of Sighvi stature and who has been holding very Senior Parliamentarian positions this matter and these accusations should not be let go without going at the bottom and find what is the truth ?

2.Quid pro qo for a High Court Post is hinted on TV .

This is dangerous and horrible and should have been investigated long back as it is being said on TV that this CD was circulating for a the last month .
Govt should immediately get the air cleared by investigations by CBI .

3. Why the Driver has not been arrested so far when he is spreading morphed CD ,has admitted so before the Court ?

Arrest the driver quickly as it is no more matter between two individuals .Let some independent Lab like Chandigarh Lab investigate the CD.

I have not seen the CD nor intend to .But since a Parliamentarian of Sighvi stature and who has been holding very Senior Parliamentarian positions this matter and these accusations should not be let go without going at the bottom and find what is the truth ?

Can Parliamentarian be allowed to be humiliated this way ? Though Singhvi's own record and Congress' record in treating the Parliamentarians of the Opposition like Karnatka and Gujarat MLAs is exteremly very degrading .Hence now the BJP has hit back .

But this CD is beyond those as posts are being offered for favours .I believe this whole CD is concocted but will not accept on the strength of Singhvi and Driver's say .Both are under the dark cloud .

An independent investigation can only clear the air.
That much at least the Rulers owe to the Nation.

Whosoever is guilty driver or Singhvi or both then let them face consequences of their betrayal .

 ok finally he himself confessed to all wrong-doings, will the court lift the ban and allow the CD to be played at major theaters all across country, R rating is fine?

so the lesson learnt from this, congress is going down to dogs. congress was a safe heaven for all anti-national activities, corruption, immorality. as their true color is showing, they might want to close the shop all together for the betterment of the nation.
