There is no question that the "policy paralysis" has been caused by an Opposition whose sole aim is to thwart the government  at every step irrespective of what is good for the country.

A very comical statement. Since 2004, when did we have any economic reform?

It has become a standard habit in the media-reforms have stalled because of this or because of that. They never pause to ask the basic question-when did reforms start? Something that has not started cannot be stalled.

Since 2004, the govt had no policy on anything to begin with. They had the Rural employment scheme and that is it. So to talk about policy paralysis in absence of a policy is comical.

And 26/11 was "RSS ki Saazish", and 9/11 was of course, a Jewish conspiracy.

The utter disregard to the Nation's economic problems is shocking but not surprising to say the least.

You hav a country of over a billion people were over 86% dont have the  very basic access to Health and Education ,but we have over 150 blogs when it comes to Politicians were people take sides.

India is facing a unprecedented crisis its not that things have got bad overnight,The biggest Forex earner the IT industry faces dwindling revenues from overseas and the growth in imports has created a deficit of over 185 billion dollars and increasing by the day.

State Finances have been looted with immunity and not a single soul has been ppunished for Loot.Social welfare programmes have provided fodder for Neta"s and Babus to loot.

The rising import bill on Fuel has sucked the Forex dry,now why has the Govt not approved ethanol blended Petrol sale.

This will save over 44000 crores in imports and 10000 crores in subsidy,it will provide the Farmer money for his labour and increase the growth of rural economy.

FDI in retail can wait if this done, why hasnt it been done, yes kick backs from Oil Producing Nations to the people who matter has delayed it.Forever.

Now will the next Govt (BJP led) going to do this ,you never know, hey will come back and give a excuse for not doing.

If this is done over 50000 crores will be pumped into the Financial system and cut Deficit and increase growth by improving consumption.

Instead we dont have a single leader who stands up and says this will be done.

So many bloggers havent see the crisis fit for a furious debate.Why.Is it only ideology on Politics thats should drive the Nation.

But what Kaushik Basu has said which is already not known to Indians and the World at large ? Every Writer on the Economic matters had predicted longtime back that the Government Polices about the reforms was heading into blind alley .
The situation further aggravated as the Scams has sucked out the money from the Economy and hence which is stranded like a vehicle without fuel .

The Congress Ministers are so conceited and egoist that instead of approaching the Opposition with a request to help the Govt to push the Reforms further -the UPA Ministers rather started accusing the Opposition for non co-operation and adopting obstructionist methods .Even its own alleys including its outside supporters Mamta ,Lalu,Naveen Patnyak and supporters like Mulayam ,Mayawati etc all have opposed many reforms like FDI or even Fuel hike to curtail subsidies.etc. But Congress and its PROs are simply so egoists that they started targeting BJP and Left for non co-operation instead of asking for help.Thereby pushing these Parties into confrontation mode.

Tell me who will help you even for a National cause if the seekers of help approach the Parties whose help is sought with pointing fingers and without taking the even minimum actions morally required against the Mantries and Netas accused of Scams ?

Kaushik Basu rightly said that no Reforms will take place till 2014.
Unless UPA puts its own house in order and rebuilt relations with the Opposition the reforms will stand stalled till then.

Will UPA show some humility for the sake of good Governance ??

That is so true!! We need an able and upright party like Congress to be sitting in the Opposition.

Problem is: even then, the jokers from the sickular camp will be cribbing themselves hoarse.
