India is ungovernable if the people vote for a bunch of multiple parties with diversified interests sewn together at the election time just to capture power. We are seeing to day the real effect of the 'patch work' at the Center with the Prime Minister wringing his hands and standing helpless while the regional chieftains in the coalition, dictating terms  as to how the Center has to run.  What India needs is a one party majority rule at the center to make the country move.
