Are we all not supposed to be equal before the law and the govt

Why then such a hue and cry over a mere cine star.

Some are more equal than others

Funny indeed!! The government did not jump so crazy when ex-President, Dr. Kalam was frisked in USA. To his credit, SRK just laughed it off, joking about the incident. Sadly, he has to bear the burden of crimes committed by his co-religionists.

The solution for the rich and famous who are thus treated is to turn around and leave. If you don't like the treatment, express your displeasure by walking out. Stop whining.

If SRK was etained due to his Muslim name, it was WRONG.

If they wanted to ban a third class actor from influencing Hollywood, theyw ere right!

Since the purpose of his current visit to the US was to speak at Yale, Khan should have secured a “J” visa before leaving India. This category of visa is meant for academic exchange visitors. When Khan was similarly detained at a US airport in 2009, he should have arrived with an “” visa meant for artists invited to perform in America.

Apparently the hero on both occasions was travelling on a wrong visa and so could have been deported.

It is time the govt stopped acting like govt for the moneyed (mostly black), by the moneyed and of the moneyed and stuck to dealing with larger issues of the common man.
