It is an absolute truth that Aceh survived because people became more religious. The 2004 Tsunami after earthquake struck Aceh and caused havoc. In 2009, Aceh accepted God's law, read Sharia. The 2012 earthquake should have caused the tsunami, it was powerful enough for that but then it was God who saved Acehians by turning the earthquake to horizontal rather than vertical.
