It is reported that one of the Italian tourists has been in Puri for several years (came here 19 years ago) and is engaged in arranging tourist visits to foreigners, that too to senstive tribal dominated regions. It is not clear if the local authorities are unaware of this or if it is a case of sheer apathy. Can one imagine a similar thing happening abroad ? Are we a banana republic ?
What 'tourist'?! - one guy has been staying in India for the past 10 years! How did he manage to get a visa for so long and what was he doing - converting poor tribals/harvesting souls?
